Bear Country (dem-o)

Feelin' trapped. Feelin dumb you rule with more than your thumb. 40 years 40 years and its showin'.
Feeling more and more like its under my skin. Moved a lot in my years don't ya know it.
Saddle up. Settle down. Is this more than a town? The chips they fell in Bergen. Cows cross on the road. Cows' cross in mind. This bull's had his last medallion.
This is bear country. This is bear country. This is bear country, don't ya know it?
Feelin' lost underground. Strangled thoughts can't make a sound. Jerked around and around and around yea. Feelin' sorry for all the sorries i've heard. Nothin' lost and nothin' gained yea.
One thought one thought can only capture my fate. One thought and I know that i'm sure yea.
Cows cross on the road. Cow's cross in my mind. This bull's had his last medallion.
This is bear country. Don't ya know it?
I always thought of myself as a favourite old shoe. You were just the muddy fall, yea.
I always thought of myself as a favourite old shoe. Why couldn't you be my Winter?
I always thought of that favourite old shoe. Why couldn't you be my winter?
Cows cross on the road. Cow's cross on my mind. This bull's had his last medallion.
This is bear country. Don't ya know it?

In Alberta

Yea I'm in Alberta,
Where the only sand is Tar.
Not a lot to do here,
So I had to pick up this guitar.
I got stock in the railway.
It's somethin' I can trust.
Never really rains much here,
Ya nothin' gives to rust.
And the only thing about livin',
Is that you know you gotta die.
But life is not worth living,
Without that big'ol question why.
I'm on a mission,
For Fruition.
And I only got a car!
And I only have half of that.
I'm just tryin' to do my part.
God says sleep my babies,
And then wake up!
Love is Free.
It's not the weight on your shoulders,
But the weight you made out of Me.
Grabbin' all I can now,
To consume my big'ol dreams.
Fearin' that big River,
Is just a little measly stream.
Give me one good reason,
Why I ought'nt leave.
Feed me tea and cookies,
I'll just hide them up my sleeves.
I need your kisses.
Be my Mrs.
We'll have love as an entity.
We'll get one chance.
Then another. Repetitiously.
